School applications for Reception September 2024 places are now open. Nursery applications will open on the 1st October 2023. If you would like any support with your application, please contact the school office on 0208 386 2552 and select option 1 to speak to Tina. There is also a step-by-step guide on how to apply.

The school's admissions policy is in line with the London Borough of Enfield procedures.

Nursery Admissions - September 2024

We are delighted to inform our local families that we will be offering Nursery places at Bowes in September 2024.

Bowes are offering 15 hour nursery placements as well as 30 hour nursery placements for those that are eligible. The number of part-time and full-time places on offer will be flexible and based on local demand.

The online admission system opens on the 1st October 2023 for you to apply for your child's nursery place for September 2024. Please click here to start your application. Please state on your application whether you are applying for a 15 or 30 hour place under the 'Reasons for Preference' section.

The deadline for all nursery applications is 15th February 2024.

Reception Admissions - September 2024

Bowes are delighted to offer 60 Reception places for children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020. 

The online admission system is now open for you to apply for your child's Reception place for September 2024. Please click here to start your application.

The latest date for your application to be treated as an on-time application is 15th January 2024. Any applications made after this date are treated as late applications.

New Parent Visits

We know how important it is for parents to visit schools in order to make an informed decision about where to send their children. Every year, we offer 'new parent tours' for families to visit our school. During these visits, you will meet the Headteacher, some of our Year 6 pupils and be offered a tour of the school, including the nursery. If you would like to visit our school, please book your place by clicking here.

Please note, these places do get booked up quickly and once a session is full, the date will be removed from the form. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the school on 0208 386 2552 and select option 1 to speak to Tina.

Appeals Information - September 2024

Information regarding appeals is on our Connect Education Trust website and the form to complete in order to make an appeal can be found below. The Appeals window for September 2024 starters closes on 24th May 2024.

Deferring Entry for Reception - September 2024

If your child was born between 1 April 2020 and 31 August 2020, and you want to defer their entry to school by a whole year, please complete the deferral request form (PDF). For further guidance about school admissions for children born in the summer, see Department for Education – guidance for parents.

In-Year Applications

If you move into Enfield and require a school place for your child, you need to complete an 'in-year' application form to apply for a place. You will also need to complete this form if you want to request a school transfer for your child. You can find all the information you need regarding in-year admissions on this page.

In-year admission forms can only be completed by parents/carers who live in the London Borough of Enfield. If you live outside the London Borough of Enfield, you must contact your own local authority to ask for the relevant application form. You should return the completed form, together with documentation to confirm the child's date of birth to the following address:
