At Bowes Primary School, we provide nutritious, healthy food, which we serve in an environment that promotes social interaction between the children.
The current cost for a school meal in KS2 is £2.52 per day or £12.60 per week which is paid on Parentpay.
Since September 2014, all pupils in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 have been offered a school meal at no cost to the parent or guardian.
Our current school meals menu is available to download below (provided by The Pantry).

Changing Your Meal Option
If your child would like to change from packed lunch to school dinners or the other way round they can only do so from the first day of a term or half term. You must fill in the attached form and return it to the school office. Please don’t just leave a message with your child’s class teacher as this sometimes leads to confusion and a dinner may not be ordered for your child or if they are changing to packed lunch you will still be charged for dinners that have been ordered but they have not eaten.
Unfortunately we are no longer able to allow children to have dinners on a part-time basis they must have school dinners or packed lunch Monday to Friday.
