Enfield Public Speaking Competition

On Tuesday four children from Bowes took part in the final of the Enfield Public Speaking Competition.

They were competing with other schools in Enfield. The speakers were Ella, Keiron, Leo and Lottie. They all spoke passionately, and with great skill and confidence, about some very important topics - all chosen and written by the children. The competition was won by Lottie in Mulberry Class who presented a very engaging, original and confident speech about Gender Equality. Lottie, who won a lovely silver cup, said "Even if you don't believe something is possible you can still achieve it!" Congratulations to all the speakers for getting so far in the competition and especially to Lottie for 'bringing the cup home!'
