Bowes Parliament
Our Year 6 Members of Parliament (MPs) have had a fantastic start to the term, throwing themselves into their new responsibilities with enthusiasm.
Last week, they successfully led their very first School Council sessions alongside our Class Councillors, asking thoughtful questions that will help shape future meetings.
Continuing their brilliant work this week, the MPs delivered our 'Picture News' assemblies alongside a member of the Senior Leadership Team. Exploring current affairs and sparking curiosity about the wider world, each MP dedicated some of their own time to planning and presenting. They delivered the assemblies with confidence and maturity. Well done!
