Year 4 Victorian Day

Last week, Year 4 travelled back in time to experience a Victorian school day

As they entered the Top Hall, the modern world faded away, and they found themselves standing in orderly rows, ready to adhere to the strict Victorian classroom rules. The day’s activities offered a taste of traditional learning, including:

Rhythmic times tables practise and mental arithmetic.

Victorian-style “drills” (physical exercise).

Formal handwriting sessions.

Well done, Year 4! Your fantastic costumes and enthusiastic participation brought history to life and made the day a true success!
